E30 – Karla Freeze – A life of Purely Plants

This week on the Mended Paths Podcast I am happy to bring you my awesome conversation with Ms. Karla Freeze. Karla transitioned from the SAD, “Standard American Diet,” to veganism and finally to a whole food plant based diet. In doing so, she has lost an astounding 235 pounds and honestly looks like a different person. More importantly however, she got Back To Better and no longer has diabetes, high cholesterol, psoriasis, anxiety,  or sleep apneia.

Now Karla uses her website PurelyPlants.co, Facebook page Purely Plants, and personal consultations to help people transition to a plant based lifestyle.

This week on the Mended Paths Podcast, I’m joined by Teresa Cassle. Despite being active growing up, Teresa’s “horrible diet of fast food and junk” lead to several serious medical issues. She faced multiple surgeries, several medications and a poor quality of life; She lived in a cycle of depression, junk, and inactivity.

But Teresa is another example of how one documentary, “Forks Over Knives,” can change a life. Join us today, as she shares her journey of the issues she faced, and how she mended her path and got back to active; Back To Better!
