Mended Paths is a resource run by me, Chadwick Hayward, to help and encourage you to make healthy lifestyle choices so that you can achieve your full health potential and maximize your longevity!

We have been led astray by big food, big pharma and big chemical; and we have the sickness to show for it. Making healthy choices is hard when you live in a culture of ignorance where unhealthy choices are the norm and people often consider their bad choices good ones. With BILLIONS spent on advertising and doubt as a weapon, we are fooled into thinking we don’t have a choice; disease is inevitable – This is simply not true.

Mended Paths is here to help you get back on track to healthy. Here you’ll find easy tips on how to make healthier choices and find inspiration from others who’ve made dramatic changes to their own lives and overcome significant health challenges. Here you’ll find a community of like-minded individuals who are ready to mend the path they’re on and finally get Back to Better.

I’m a man who’s struggled to find his passion. Struggling with depression my whole life, I couldn’t find that which gave me purpose. I tried many things: I dabbled in Engineering and English in university, did a stint in the military, was a concierge and later the superintendent of a premier luxury high rise condo before spending some time in the Alberta oilfield. Still, I wasn’t happy. I decided to go back to school and get a Business degree. After graduating at the top of my class I went on to obtain the Chartered Accountant designation. Despite my success, happiness eluded me.

Then one day, out of nowhere, a friend of a friend suggested I watch a documentary called “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead” and I was amazed by what could be achieved by lifestyle changes. I was hooked. Since then I have been drinking in all the information on health and nutrition I can get my hands on. And oh how my life has changed! For the first time in my life I can say I am truly HAPPY! I have no depression, I’ve given up all my vices and crutches, I no longer experience IBS. I’ve also lost 45 Lbs. and am the healthiest I’ve ever been.

Before and after v2

“The path is broke
We’ve lost our way
Bodies filed with vile decay
Disease it grows
Out of control
Oh dear what shall we do?

We need to look back at the old
To see what’s made us sick
Discard the poison conveniently made,
Addiction hid in fog that’s thick

Though the path is broke
We’ve been led astray
All is not yet lost
Together we can mend the path
And find the health we’ve lost.”
